The Best Lover is a shortfilm and a 3-channel video installation about Love, which is to be taken as a serious action towards new humanity. Self-love (often falsely mixed up with narcissism) nourishes and cherishes one’s mental growth. The Best Lover is an episode-based film that plays with forms and myths of love in a pursuit of the revolutionary power of self-love. Characters like Cupido and Barbarella and a pink-toned landscapes are cut into montages that exudes feminist humor.
Duration of the film is 27 minutes. The Best Lover can be screened or exhibited as a scalable installation or as a film.
The film will premiere in 2023 in Forum Box´s Mediabox, Helsinki
